Some of you have spent years trying to find friendship in family members who have never made you feel emotionally safe.

And perhaps the hardest part to accept is that you’ve been confusing the obligation to maintain a relationship with the safety required to be vulnerable in one.

Being related doesn’t automatically make someone trustworthy. And loving your family doesn’t mean you have to keep giving them access to parts of your life they haven’t demonstrated the capacity to handle.

This isn’t about dishonoring family, encouraging division, or withholding love. It’s about recognizing that shared history does not guarantee emotional safety, and familiarity does not automatically produce friendship.

If you’re fortunate enough to have family members who are also your friends, cherish them. That’s a blessing.

But if you don’t, I hope you stop feeling guilty for acknowledging what the relationship actually is instead of grieving what you’ve always wanted it to be.

You can love people without continuing to hurt yourself trying to be close to them, friend. I hope this helps the people who need it most ❤️🫶🏾

Part 6 – The Court Case 👨‍⚖️⚖️

The outcome…

I'm devastated, but I know I did everything I possibly could! The Judge granted everything in my favour and it all had to be paid back, it just never came 😢

Now it's time to pick myself up, dust myself off and get back to turning this derelict bungalow into my home.

If anything, I'm more determined than ever to finish what I started. This little bungalow isn't giving up on me, and I'm certainly not giving up on it! ❤️ 🏡

Thank you for all your support, kindness, lovely messages and for standing by me throughout this whole ordeal. It genuinely means more than you know! Thank you!

Melbourne to Malaysia ✈️🚈🚙
I forgot this journey was an 8.5hr flight 😬 and a nice storm to land in 😝
Safely here and ready for another race weekend ♥️
And yes we are very fortunate to fly business for the long haul rounds but we make up for it on the Europeans by often slumming in on Ryan air 😭😂
