What does it take to turn a piece of fabric into something fit for royalty? A needle, shimmering threads, and a little Banarasi magic!  Born from the grandeur of royal courts, Banaras Zardozi is an exquisite embroidery craft where skilled artisans bring intricate designs to life using metallic threads, beads, and delicate embellishments. The name Zardozi comes from the Persian words zar (gold) and dozi (embroidery), a fitting tribute to an art form once adorned with real gold and silver threads. Every shimmering detail reflects hours of patience, remarkable precision, and the artistry of hands that transform ordinary fabric into extraordinary creations. Recognised with a Geographical Indication (GI) tag, Banaras Zardozi celebrates the brilliance of Indian craftsmanship and the artisans who keep this regal art flourishing. Once crafted for royalty. Today, a treasure of Indian artistry. #BanarasZardozi #ZardoziEmbroidery #BanarasiZardozi #GITag #GIProductsOfIndia Varanasi Banaras IndianEmbroidery IndianArtisans HandcraftedInIndia TraditionalCrafts CraftsOfIndia IndianHeritage RoyalCraftsmanship IndianTextiles ArtisanMade VocalForLocal IncredibleIndia
