Simply because a stadium environment is far too overwhelming for him. 🏟️ But Cucurella promised Mateo that if Spain reached the final, he would take him to the stadium. And Spain reached the final. So Mateo was there, watching the game from a special place as he saw his father become a World Champion... 🏆 And just look at what that meant to Cucurella after the game, finally being able to celebrate all together 🥹 What a fantastic day that must have been for him. It was about much more than just the World Cup trophy. A fantastic player, but an even better father 👏
