FSU GAME-TYING HAIL MARY CALLED BACK FOR HOLDING 😱😱

The air is crisp but we have fabulous sunshine in the afternoon. Long may it last 🍂

The blazer has made its first appearance. I put a very fine knit sweater underneath as you can never second guess the weather at the moment. This belt 🤎 and boots I will be wearing on repeat so hope you don’t get bored

The ladybirds 🐞 have arrived in the kitchen for the winter. Sadly not nearly as many as last year. It maybe due to the long hot summer or the pesticides the farmers use. I would put a picture on my stories but there is no way of hiding the cracks in the wall 😊

The clothes including some coats went to the charity this morning. I was told why are you giving that away I bought it for you? Because I haven’t worn it for 20 years. It’s from Reiss and black and white stripe. Such good quality but it never was my style but sometimes a wise head says nothing

We were going out tonight but the animals are all in bed. I have made carrot and coriander soup and the jacket potatoes are in the oven. I just need to open the wine and light the fire for a perfect evening and the money I saved I can buy a new coat 😂 I am joking

Have a lovely Friday evening x

Being Bengali, Durga Pujo is something I wait for all year ❤️

The pandal hopping, getting dressed in sarees, the sound of dhaak, the smell of dhunuchi, and being around the people I love, there’s so much emotion in these little things
It feels like coming home

And when I stand before Maa, I always find myself talking to her
About my dreams, my worries, the things I don’t always say out loud
Somehow, I leave with a little more courage🔥
For me, that is her power
That divine feminine energy, so loving, so fierce, so full of strength
She reminds me that we can carry softness in our hearts and still stand strong

May Maa bless you with love, protect the people you hold close, and give you the strength to keep believing, even on the difficult days🙏🏻
Shubho Durga Pujo, from my heart to yours
Never stop believing 🙏🏻✨
