There was a time when I felt completely lost.
After a tough Heartbreak — one that shattered my heart and shook the core of who I thought I was — I found myself spiraling. I lost myself. I lost my mind. I couldn’t recognize the woman staring back at me in the mirror. The pain was heavy, and the silence around me screamed louder than words ever could.
But somewhere in that darkness, I started showing up for myself.
It started with my best friend cheling I love you girl 🫶
At first, I worked out to escape the pain. Then I moved with purpose.
I started working out daily. Not just as a routine — but as a lifeline.
I couldn’t go a day without it because it became my therapy. My clarity. My power.
In losing everything — My Everything & parts of myself — I somehow started finding something even deeper.
I found me.
I began doing it for myself. But if I’m honest, I was also doing it because a part of me still wanted to be seen. To be loved. To be appreciated. And that’s okay — because we all want to feel visible and valued, God is still working on my person as I rebuild myself.
But over time, the validation I craved from others started coming from within.
I didn’t just work on my body — I rebuilt my spirit.
I now admire the woman I see in the mirror: strong, confident, unshakable.
I don’t just work out because I have to — I love to. It’s become a part of who I am.
I’m no longer hiding in pain.
I am happy.
I am fulfilled.
I am enough.
I am in love — with me.
And if this resonates with anyone who’s ever felt broken, just know:
Rock bottom can be the foundation for something beautiful.
