A heartfelt Goodbye to Lorna

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Lorna Knightingale.

Lorna absolutely loved her work. Photographing newborn babies was not simply her profession; it was her passion. She poured her heart and soul into her work, dedicating herself to capturing those precious first days of life and gifting families with the most incredible photographs and memories to treasure forever.

Her talent, her dedication and the care she put into every photograph made her work truly stand out. Every family she photographed became part of something special, and the images she created will continue to be cherished for generations to come.

Photography was such a huge part of who Lorna was. She gave so much of herself to her work, and the love she had for what she did shone through in every image she created.

Lorna leaves behind a remarkable body of work for countless families with beautiful memories that will last a lifetime.

We would like to thank everyone who trusted Lorna to capture such precious moments and supported her business throughout her journey. It meant more to her than you may ever know.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this incredibly difficult time. Further information will be shared when we are able to do so.

Rest peacefully, our darling Lorna. Your beautiful work, your passion and the memories you created will live on forever.

NYC just doubled its artist grants to $10,000, the first increase in nearly 20 years. 🎨💸

Mayor Mamdani's administration is raising the cap as rent, groceries, and child care keep climbing while artist funding stayed flat. Filmmakers, dancers, writers, painters, collectives, and small nonprofits can apply through their borough's arts partner. Bronx applications close Oct. 30, Manhattan on Nov. 12, and Queens on Nov. 17, with Staten Island opening in November.

Know an artist in the city? Tag them so they don't miss their deadline 👇

How did we end up living in Sri Lanka? It was very much a going with the wind situation, when life gives you lemons make lemonade and Sri Lanka worked out to be the lemonade 🇱🇰💫⭐️
