Let’s keep this short-ish. @ruthcrilly has 25% off @shiseido in her stories. I’ve never seen that before, so if you’ve ever been tempted by any of the products I’ve used over the years, check out Ruth’s stories for the link New to the @shiseido Vital Perfection lineup is the SculptDefine serum. It’s got some very impressive science behind it. I’ll report back. I did not turn that TV on! 💩😱 Back to all silver jewellery for winter Drs really are the best company. @drchristinehall @doctorshireen My worst nightmare is being told that I have to eat a large mixed texture food in one mouthful. Not happening. You’re asking for a cleanup situation. Just the one drink for me last night. Preloved The Vampires Wife. I will wait an eternity and scour the earth to find a piece of clothing for £80 instead of £800 @drchristinehall 📸 @lilycraigen I wish there was video evidence of this. 📸 @lilycraigen I look like I’m wearing a mask of my own face. Very strange. Anyway, I love @mrsjaneharper Bougie Avo toast with gold-leaf. Really quite mad but here we are.
Happy birthday to my baby Eliana 🥹🥹❤️
A graduate student at the University of Wyoming has been arrested on charges of poisoning a colleague before stealing his research data and attempting to flee to China. Aili Wang was arrested on October 6th at Los Angeles International Airport as she attempted to board a flight to China. She traveled with multiple laptops, digital storage devices, and written materials. She allegedly purchased a chemical called acrylamide via eBay which she used to poison her colleague’s tea. Acrylamide is used in microbiology research involving proteins or DNA and can be toxic in large doses. After making two purchases, Wang requested eBay permanently close her user account. The victim, identified in court documents as “K.T.”, is likely a Vietnamese graduate student named Kiet Tran (slide 2). According to Professor Mark Gomelsky who supervised both students, Wang failed to defend her dissertation and was envious of K.T.’s comparative success in the lab, using bacteria to deliver RNA to human cells. K.T.’s research was federally funded and patent-pending, and focused on new technology for cancer, neurological and genetic disease treatment according to an affidavit submitted by UW campus police. Wang herself had worked on similar research in China before coming to the United States. After he began experiencing extreme tiredness, inability to sleep and other unexplained symptoms, and noticed that his tea tasted different, a chemistry professor tested the coffee maker he used each day. Acrylamide showed up in the test, and campus police then set up a hidden camera to record the area, which Wang also frequently used. On September 27th, 2026, the camera recorded Wang taking photos of every page in one of the notebooks on K.T.’s desk and rinsing out his mug with a liquid from her own mug. Because Acrylamide is a neurotoxin, K.T. may never fully recover from the effects of the poisoning. Wang faces up to 10 years in prison on a felony aggravated assault and battery charge in Wyoming. She is currently being held without bail in Los Angeles. #china #microbiology #gradstudent #wyoming #arrested
