Flashback to a 22-year-old Chief, serving as U.S. PR Director of Vivienne Westwood, (The youngest PR Director of an international fashion house) on a work trip alongside our Guest of the House, the legendary André Leon Talley. I was young, ambitious, and still finding my voice in an industry I had dreamed of being part of. I had no idea just how much these moments would shape the man I would become. André taught me so much beyond fashion. About life, confidence, knowing your worth, owning your identity, and never shrinking yourself to fit into someone else’s world. Some of the greatest lessons in life aren’t taught in classrooms. They’re learned in the presence of greatness. Forever grateful for the wisdom, the conversations, and the memories. Rest in power, André Leon Talley. 🕊️
