That little post in the upper left corner? That used to be my “About Me.” I wrote it with a shaky kind of hope, one that whispered maybe I could teach myself to make pretty cakes (not just cupcakes), maybe I could design for weddings, maybe I could face my fear of teaching… and still be present with my babies.
Those dreams felt huge at the time. But I’ve learned:
You can do hard things...even when they don’t make sense yet.And if something feels impossibly hard? That’s usually the part right before it all clicks.
What’s unfolded since then has been nothing short of wild, in the best, messiest, most meaningful way.

Today, I’m a licensed cottage baker in Las Vegas.
My first wedding order? A massive one, in New York City.
I created The Boujee Cake Society, where I’ve launched 3 tutorials (and just wrapped filming the next one).
And somewhere between the chaos and creativity…my work was published in 2 magazines, one of them all the way in Vienna, Austria.
But none of that means anything if I lose the moments that matter most: Time with my husband, Mark, &our 2 boys, Oliver & Henry. Balancing it all is hands down the hardest thing I’ve ever done…but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Because this journey?
It’s not just about cakes. It’s about building something beautiful from scratch, when no one else sees the full vision but you. It’s about holding a piping bag in one hand and a toddler in the other, and choosing to keep going even when the “why” is the only thing that makes sense. It’s about the moms, the makers, and the dreamers doing it nap by nap, order by order, late night by late night.
