This month, we’ve seen three 4Runners come in for a Body Mount Chop, but each one left with just a proper alignment. After lifting and adding larger tires, a custom alignment is crucial. Larger tires can often rub against the body mount when making turns, leading to potential damage and decreased performance. Through a proper alignment, we can adjust the caster angle, effectively moving the wheel forward by nearly 0.5 inches. This adjustment not only alleviates tire rubbing on the body mount but also enhances overall handling and stability. Ensuring your vehicle is correctly aligned after modifications is key to maintaining its integrity and performance on and off the road.
