A Fijian Bobo massage is no joke. Can confirm eyelashes and mascara came right off 😂!!
1. Proof that I can, indeed sit still
2. Evidence of our die hard commitment to learning a little bit of the Fijian language - in the middle of their lesson i asked ‘so how do you say ‘are we your favourite’ 💀 we learned and obviously proceeded to ask every staff we met LOOL 💅🏻
3. 👏🏻COME 👏🏻ONNN 👏🏻dusk be duskin’ 😮💨
4. Literally the only thing that can shut me the hell up 😍
5. Cute lil thing they write on the back of the utensil wrapping on @fly_fijiairways that made me blush 🥹
6. Saw a Lovo for the first time! An underground oven used as a traditional fijian cooking method- the chicken was 🤤
7. Was hella star struck by the stars on our last evening at Coco Palms- the clearest I’ve ever seen them. Threw my head back so hard on the back of the chair to count the stars that I pulled my neck 😂 staff really came by and asked ‘you good???’
8. This is their (transactional) island cat !! Lil man came for the food only but I don’t care 😭 he spent 8 mins with me in the bed. In the video I’m pretty sure he’s saying ‘don’t make it weird man’ and of course I when you say shit like that to me I 1000% will make it weird. He immediately got up and left 🙄 he probably saw my intrusive thoughts of ‘let me domesticate you asap’ 😭
9. That one time we slept until 5pm, woke up for dinner, ate for 2 hours, and went straight back to bed 🤪
10. We ran into the kindest groundskeeper- what started as a ‘BULA’ (which means hello) led to ‘I’ll meet you at 145 for some fresh coconuts’ 🥹 he showed up at 1:42pm with indeed the most delicious coconuts and even made us a lil Fijian spoon to eat the coconut meat. Some of the most generous, genuine and loving people I’ve met on this cute lil island 🫶🏻
