Beautiful @iansanders I ran a workshop recently on feedback and as the person up front, I went first with ‘vulnerability’ to make it easier for others to follow. I put up a slide with 6 VERY vulnerable truths about me. I said 5 were false and only 1 was true and the group had to guess which one was true. 5 mins of discussion and after they had all picked which one they thought was true, I then revealed on the next slide they were ALL in fact true. It was a powerful moment and set the tone for them to then share their vulnerability. It was a risk and I was nervous as I’d only thought of it that morning but it worked really well. The leaders that followed were incredible in their sharing and you could really feel the energy in the room shift, which for me as the facilitator made for a much more malleable workshop 👍🏽
