I’ve always had a deep fascination with technology and for the past five years, I’ve been lecturing on futurism, unpacking the movements in emerging tech and how they can positively impact our communities.

Artificial Intelligence is at the centre of global conversations and while it is exhilarating and terrifying at the same time there are some critical questions that need to be asked in regards to developing economies:
How do we prevent tech colonisation?
How do we ensure our languages, cultures and values are represented in the very algorithms shaping our futures?

And most importantly, how do we work with AI to uplift and harmonise, rather than become dependent or dominated?

As a seasoned entrepreneurial educator, I’ve spent years exploring how education can genuinely transform developing nations. But the truth is — most education systems are still stuck in Industrial Age frameworks. Learning is often one-directional and intelligence is too often equated with memorisation, not application or creativity.

This is no longer sustainable and our education systems are becoming increasingly irrelevant in a fast-evolving world.

With this in mind, I’m proud to announce my official expansion into the AI space, with a vision to bridge the gap between technology and people — ensuring that Africa and other developing regions are not left behind, but become active co-creators in this next era.

Join us for an engaging webinar where we’ll unpack these challenges, share ideas and imagine a future where AI empowers, rather than replaces and where education truly evolves to serve the world we are stepping into.
