I helped him make over $100K.
He paid me $1200.
People will take advantage of you as long as you let them.
I built the site, created the systems, did the designs, set up the brand.
He made $85K in less than six weeks.
I got $1200
And when I asked for fair pay because clearly he was making a killing, he said some sh*t like ‘what does that have to do with you?’
I wasn’t mad at him. I was mad at me.
For playing small. For not asking what I deserved. For letting people-pleasing drain me dry.
This was the moment I realized:
We teach people how to treat us by what we allow.
