Coming soon to Low Miles No Miles Auctions is this 773-Mile 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4! Finished in Toreador Red Metallic with Arizona Beige lower trim over a Tan leather interior, this first-year Excursion is powered by Ford’s massive 6.8L Triton V10 paired with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Yes, 773 miles. Purchased new from Tubbs Brothers in Sandusky, Michigan, this Excursion spent nearly its entire life tucked away in a private automobile collection. According to the surviving business partner of the original owner, the two shared an unusual habit of purchasing brand-new vehicles and storing them inside their company warehouse rather than putting them into regular service. This Excursion was one of them. The original owner reportedly purchased it with approximately 408 miles and placed it into long-term storage near Toledo, Ohio. The collection was maintained over the years, with the vehicles stored indoors in a climate-controlled environment and started regularly. Following the owner’s passing, this Excursion was recently acquired from his estate alongside 19 other vehicles from the same family. More than 26 years later, it retains its original paint, original interior, factory configuration, and even the factory-installed tires. When Ford introduced the Excursion for 2000, subtlety wasn’t part of the equation. Built from the Super Duty platform, it was designed to haul families, tow heavy trailers, travel enormous distances, and be about as unapologetically large as an SUV could be. And that’s exactly what happened to most of them. They became tow rigs, family haulers, road-trip vehicles, and workhorses. They accumulated hundreds of thousands of miles, endured winters, were modified, and in places like Michigan, many eventually succumbed to rust. Somehow, one didnt. Located in Saint Clair, Michigan, this 773-mile 2000 Ford Excursion Limited V10 4x4 is coming soon to Low Miles No Miles Auctions! Sheryl Snellings says her ex-husband’s blood is on the judge’s hands after their son was allowed to move back in with him despite a previous attack. Larry Salisbury, 92, was found beaten to death inside his Baton Rouge, Louisiana, home on October 12. Their son, Bruce Salisbury, 45, has been charged with first-degree m*rder. Weeks earlier, Bruce pleaded guilty to domestic abuse battery after leaving his father with two black eyes. Larry asked the court to lift a protective order so Bruce could return home, saying he wanted to help his son. The judge granted that request. Larry was found dead 25 days later. Sheryl says she warned Larry that Bruce would k*ll him if he returned. She recalls Larry responding, “Bruce won’t hurt me.” Sending condolences to Larry’s loved ones. 🕊️ 🎥: @WAFB Read more stories like this at OnsiteGlobalMedia.us (link in bio).
