*Westmoorings man robbed of $50,000 outside bank* A 49-year-old man was robbed of $50,000 after being struck on the back of his head by two men as he walked to his vehicle after leaving a bank in Diego Martin on Monday. The incident occurred at about 3 p.m. on October 12, after the man exited First Citizens Bank at the Diego Martin Borough Corporation compound. The man told police he was carrying the cash in his hands and walking towards his vehicle, which was parked on the northern side of the compound’s car park, when he was approached by the two men. The men reportedly struggled with him, struck him on the back of his head and took the money before escaping in a white Nissan AD wagon. The vehicle was last seen travelling north. The suspects’ descriptions were not provided.
⚡️ Hicab məsələsi Türkiyə ilə Azərbaycan arasında siyasi mübahisəyə çevrilib. 🇹🇷 Ərdoğanın baş müşaviri Oktay Saral Azərbaycanda hicablı şagirdlərin təhsil hüququnun məhdudlaşdırılmasını tənqid edib. 🧕 O, Azərbaycanın bu səhv qərardan tezliklə dönəcəyini gözlədiklərini bildirib və vurğulayıb ki, hicablı şagirdlərin məktəbə buraxılmaması qəbuledilməzdir. 🇦🇿 Bunun ardınca hakim Yeni Azərbaycan Partiyası (YAP) Saralın və AKP-li millət vəkillərinin açıqlamalarına etiraz edib. Partiyanın bəyanatında deyilir: 😡 “Türkiyə Prezidentinin baş müşaviri Oktay Saralın, hakim Ədalət və İnkişaf Partiyasından olan millət vəkillərinin məsələnin mahiyyətini, Azərbaycanın konstitusion quruluşunu və ölkəmizdə dini etiqad azadlığının hüquqi əsaslarını nəzərə almadan populist və məsuliyyətsiz açıqlama verməsi ciddi təəssüf doğurur. Belə açıqlamalar Azərbaycan–Türkiyə qardaşlıq münasibətlərinin ruhuna ziddir və ictimai müstəvidə süni gərginlik yaratmağa xidmət edə bilər.” Sizcə, hansı tərəf doğrudur?

30 Years Later, I Still Haven’t Received The Olympic Gold Medal I Won With Nigeria At Atlanta ’96 — Former Super Eagles Coach Jo Bonfrere Former Super Eagles coach Jo Bonfrere has claimed that he has yet to receive his Olympic gold medal or reward for helping Nigeria win the men’s football event at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Bonfrere made the claim during an interview with CreativeLordTV in Ebonyi State, where he visited for the opening of Chief Agueze’s country home on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Asked whether the promises made to him after Nigeria won gold had been fulfilled, the 80-year-old Dutch coach, through an interpreter, said he had never received the medal. “I have never seen the gold. That’s the problem, so I don’t know how it looks. I don’t know how the gold medal looks because I have never received it,” he said. The interpreter further explained that Bonfrere had gone three decades without receiving his reward, despite claims that the players and other officials had been rewarded. “Every player has received, even the reward, every player and official. So after 30 years, I have never received my reward,” he said while conveying the coach’s account. The interpreter also recounted how Bonfrere allegedly resisted pressure from a minister to select certain players, insisting on choosing the squad he believed could win the tournament. According to him, the minister repeatedly urged him to field specific players, but Bonfrere maintained that he had to make his own choices to secure victory. Nigeria defeated Argentina 3–2 in the final of the Atlanta 1996 Olympics, becoming the first African nation to win Olympic gold in men’s football.
