How to beat a goalkeeper one-on-one (1,945 shots of data)
One-on-one with the keeper looks easy. It isn't: only 1 in 3 go in ⚽

I analysed 1,945 true one-on-ones:
🔹 Chip: 34%, same as everything else. Not a cheat code.
🔹 High corner: 25%. Low corner: 34%.
🔹 Low, through the middle: 55%
🔹 From an angle: far post 58%, near post 16%
🔹 Shoot when the keeper is 3–6 yards away: 37%. Wait longer: 24%.

My Mom reminded me today that I wrote “Play a Principal part on the Blumenthal Stage” on my bathroom mirror when I was 13. It took me 20 years to get here but we did it 🙏🏻🎭

Huge THANK YOU to every teacher, mentor, supporter, friend, family member, and castmate who poured endless amounts of support into my artistic life. I LOVE what I do and I hope that shows through every performance 💚

Chat, What is Navratri ?

Navratri (नवरात्रि) is one of the most significant Hindu festivals, celebrated over nine nights and ten days in honour of Goddess Durga and her nine divine forms, collectively known as Navadurga. 🪷🇮🇳

The word Navratri comes from Sanskrit, where Nav means nine and Ratri means nights. The festival symbolises the victory of good over evil, the triumph of light over darkness, and the power of feminine divinity, known in Hinduism as Shakti.

Each of the nine nights is dedicated to a different manifestation of Goddess Durga, representing qualities such as courage, wisdom, strength, compassion and prosperity.

Although Navratri is celebrated across India, its traditions vary significantly from region to region.

In Gujarat, the festival is famous for Garba and Dandiya Raas, traditional folk dances performed in colourful attire, often in large circles around a symbolic representation of the divine feminine.

In West Bengal, Navratri coincides with Durga Puja, an elaborate celebration commemorating Goddess Durga’s victory over the buffalo demon Mahishasura. Cities are transformed with magnificent temporary temples known as pandals, elaborate idols, music, art and community festivities.

In northern India, Navratri is often observed through fasting, prayers and performances of Ramlila, which recount the life of Lord Rama and his victory over the demon king Ravana.

Many devotees observe dietary restrictions, abstain from alcohol and certain foods, and participate in daily prayers throughout the nine days.

The festival culminates on the tenth day, known as Vijayadashami or Dussehra, celebrating the victory of righteousness over evil.

More than just a religious festival, Navratri is a celebration of India’s cultural diversity, centuries-old traditions, community, devotion and the enduring belief that good ultimately triumphs over evil.

Happy Navratri! May these nine nights bring strength, happiness, prosperity and positivity to all. 🪷✨🙏

former VS angel @romeestrijd revealed that she won’t be walking the VSFS 2026.

romee auditioned in september and spent weeks without a final answer, being told by her agency that she was still on a “maybe” list. today, just 6 days before the show, she was still telling fans that she didn’t know whether she would be part of it. about an hour later, she shared that she had officially been rejected.

according to romee, she was first told that she “didn’t fit the show,” and then learned that victoria’s secret had already released her from the process, something her agency had not communicated to her.

she also said she didn’t feel supported throughout the process and probably won’t audition again, choosing instead to keep the good memories from her years with @victoriassecret.
