'The Empty' is a song I wrote about my life-changing DMT experiences. Those who have experienced it know how hard it is to describe. I hope to have done a worthy job capturing a bit of its magnificence and that you feel touched by our humble audiovisual translation of that magical, mystical realm. 🪬💫

Released on my 40th birthday, July 18th, 2023, this song marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life and the debut of my project TRYPTAMAX. This track is the first of many.

Though primarily a solo endeavor, in the sense that I'm writing all the music (and lyrics), recording and producing everything, I'm joined by some amazing collaborators to make this dream come true. Will Shaw is the voice of TRYPTAMAX. We had been meaning to collaborate for years, ever since our EPIC "Metropolis Part 1" (Dream Theater) Split-Screen Cover, and this felt like the right moment and project to do so.

You'll also notice my great friend Paulinho Drums, who was awesome enough to join us for this music video. On guitar, bass, and keys, yours truly.
