1/2: Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in our first ever photo walk! It was truly a great time, and we hope we can sponsor community photography events like this in the future.
An event like this was possible because of our film processing happening in-house. Participants were led by Phil Caruso and his son Vincent Caruso to shoot rolls of Ilford HP5 around beautiful downtown Albany. After their walk, the film was brought back to McGreevy ProLab for processing. It takes about an hour to process, and then after a few random roll were selected for review and critique.
So many amazing photos were captured. The scope of talent and varied perspective in the Albany area runs deep, and it show here! This is the first round of images we’re sharing from this event, with more coming next week.

These are wonderful. Do you plan to do more walks? How can I make sure I hear about then ahead of time?

Thank you for putting this together! It was a great experience - both the photo walk and hearing Mr Caruso speak about his work and career. 👏
