Starlink is in news and NOT for good reasons! The difference between traditional internet and Starlink internet is that traditional internet is connected via geostationary satellites orbiting in space 35,000 kms away from earth whereas Starlink satellites orbit nearer to the earth ( around 480-550 kms ) which makes it easier to reach even the remotest of areas. However the twist was ( and also the reason for Starlink’s owner , Elon Musk to go on a X rampage against India , Ambani , Modi , Media and anyone in his way ) is that Jio announced their Sovereign Satellite Connectivity programme just this week! It will basically do the same thing Starlink does , but this is India made , India controlled. Now the allegation is that India is not giving Starlink “permission” for them to enter India and that could not be farther from the truth. Starlink along with 2 other Indian companies are in competition and incidentally the Indian companies had to wait much longer to get their initial licensing , compared to Starlink! This and more is all laid out , exposing the fake claims by X owner, and you can read it all ! DM me and I’ll send you the link
