Writing and directing this beautiful short film - while working, making an album, raising a toddler, and living life in THIS economy - has asked more of me than I can say this past year 🤪🫠

And at the same time, if you’d told me ten years ago that I’d be world-building in my own way and at my own pace - through organising, music, and film - I wouldn’t have known how to respond. I might not have believed you. These were dreams I held in the deepest, quietest parts of myself.

And now here I am, living them! What a gift.

To have a gorgeously creative cast and crew gather in the lush woods this week to bring my vision to life… it’s surreal. It’s real. I’m so deeply grateful.

Thank you to the National Theatre of Scotland, my own dreamy production team, and everyone who has made - and is still making - these visions of mine feel possible. 🌷🧡🌷
