My thesis 📑 is PhDONE !
I’ve officially submitted my PhD thesis!
Even though I work @slac_lab and live in the US I am doing a PhD through @imperialcollege 👩🏻🎓
Unlike US universities the defence is called a viva and it’s a questioning period that can last 4-6 hours !
I can only really speak for Imperial College London but most English PhDs submit their thesis first and then do their viva. I’ve seen in the US that some people do their defence before their thesis
So now I’ve got two weeks to grind away and prepare for my viva
Absolutely terrified!
