The Krewe of Muses is an all-female Mardi Gras krewe in New Orleans that has greatly influenced many, including the culture of Mardi Gras. Inspired by the nine Muses of Greek mythology, the krewe’s first parade rolled in 2001. 🎊
Muses is known for its night-time Uptown parade, satirical floats, philanthropic work, and the hand-decorated Muses shoe, a popular throw, which we were so graciously gifted by @almostprecisely 🥰Thank you, Holly, for honoring us with such a meaningful gift. 🙏
