The best rejection letter I ever received.
In 94 I was asked to send a tape to Ozzy I was considered a viable candidate at the time. It was a whole different lifetime ago and I was a whole different person. I personally didn't think I had a shot and apparently I was correct but, the chance to have him and his production team hear my playing/ music meant the world to me.
I often imagine what it would have been like to play with him and how different my life would have turned down but isn't that life? Even though I never met the man or even saw him play live to be honest, I still felt a connection to his music and of course one of my greatest heroes Mr Randy Rhoads.
Rest in peace John Ozzy Osbourne you and your music from Black Sabbath to all your solo work meant the world to guys like me and thank you for taking the time for considering some kid from Bay ridge Brooklyn. Godspeed and say hello to Randy ❤️❤️❤️

Wow dude I had no idea you did that. That’s amazing but I remember your playing and you deserved to get that opportunity.
