After 13 trips to rehab, Bam Margera finally found the thing that works, and it’s been under his feet the whole time 🛹 The Jackass and Viva La Bam star is now more than two years sober. For a long stretch, his battle with drugs and alcohol played out in front of everyone. He went through rehab 13 times, was cut from Jackass Forever in 2022, and has said his life spiraled after his best friend and castmate Ryan Dunn died in a car crash in 2011. He’s described his wake-up call as the moment he came to on life support, battling COVID and pneumonia, and learned he’d had multiple seizures. He says he knew then that something had to change. These days, he gives the credit to his board. “Skateboarding is my medication,” he said. “As long as I do a trick a day, it keeps my sanity sane.” What helped you or someone you love turn things around? ❤️
Exes have a strange way of reappearing in your life when you least expect them, especially late at night when emotions start taking over. After a breakup, people often go through periods of missing their former partner, remembering the good moments, and questioning whether ending the relationship was the right decision. Even when someone has moved on, certain memories, songs, or experiences can bring back feelings they thought were completely gone. One of the most common situations is receiving an unexpected message from an ex who suddenly wants to reconnect. Sometimes it’s genuine regret, while other times it’s loneliness, nostalgia, or simply missing the comfort of having someone familiar around. Alcohol can also lower inhibitions, making people more likely to express feelings they would normally keep to themselves. However, missing someone doesn’t necessarily mean the relationship deserves another chance. Sometimes people only remember what they lost after realizing the grass wasn’t greener on the other side. 😭💔 #Relationships #Breakups #Exes
Juan Atkins, techno pioneer and member of Cybotron, The Belleville Three, and Borderland, has passed away at the age of 64.

Atkins first met Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson in junior high school, forming The Belleville Three; a pioneering electronic music trio credited with inventing the genre of techno in Belleville, Michigan.

The Belleville Three crafted their unique strand of electronic music based on their experiences with Chicago house music as well as their love of the futuristic synth work of Kraftwerk, Parliament, and Prince. Atkins credits Parliament specifically with inspiring him to buy his first synthesizer.

In 1980, Atkins formed Cyobotron alongside Richard “3070” Davis while living in Detroit, Michigan. Cybotron became early innovators of Detroit techno, combining instrumental electronic music with funk and afrofuturist themes.

Atkins would later found the record label Metroplex and begin releasing solo music under the name Model 500.

He has been called “The Godfather of Techno” and the “original pioneer of Detroit techno.”

Atkins reportedly suffered a heart attack before his show at Yu Yu Club in Mexico City on October 31. His death was confirmed by his management company, Green Smith Artists.
