A friend of mine introduced me to Joe in 2005. We would get together for coffee in the mornings, always @joecoffeecompany on Waverly, because I was a chef and worked nights. That friend is now my wife. I love that Joe will always be a part of our story! Also, @abyron is the GOAT. Always knew my coffee would be perfect when she was on machine.

@jcrubinstein My first regular coffee shop in NYC was the shop on 13th. From 2007-2011, you served me coffee countless times while I went to parsons, and I still remember your warmth. I now visit your shop on Bergen where I live in BK and buy your beans from @foodcoop. A pleasure to watch your business grow with someone like you at the helm. Wishing you the best from afar.

The first cups of coffee I ever brewed and served in the US were during a guest shift at Joe, and it was such a great experience. Maybe 2005? Congratulations!

Love this! You moved in across the street from me on 13th not long after. So much love for Joe coffee. And for you @jcrubinstein though it has been many years since we have crossed paths.

I don't go back quite that far, but I lived steps from the Waverly Place shop from 2006 until 2009 and a coffee from Joe's on my way to work in the morning was such a special treat. I had one of those punch cards!
