No, I was good enough, but you made me believe I wasn’t. We went through all of that just to be strangers again. The worst feeling is when you don’t want to give up on someone but you know you have to. Sometimes we lose people because we overlove them. My toxic trait is that I don’t get over things, I just get past them. Haven’t healed from a lot of things, I’ve just accepted them for what they are. You like taking care of people because it heals the part of you that needed someone to take care of you. Love needs action. Trust needs proof. Sorry needs change. Stop trying to rebuild bonds you didn’t break. Btw, poetry book ‘Between Heaven & Earth’ is out now. It’s a collection of poems about love, heartbreak, loneliness, inner struggles, healing, and the quiet journey of understanding yourself and life along the way. If you’d like to read it, comment “Book” and I’ll send you the link. [poetry, poet, thefallenpoe.t, victorianpoetry, hardtruths, heartbreakquotes, healingjourney, poetrycommunity]

Navratri Day 5 — Goddess Skandamata. She who holds her son Kartikeya in her lap even as she rides the lion — fierce and tender in the same breath, the mother who never loses herself in loving. Yellow felt like sunshine you wear. Tie-dye mul cotton in yellow and blue from @vyoletclothing — shibori never looked this alive in morning light. Blue corset blouse, yellow stone and bead necklace from Bhutan. The necklace has travelled far to be seen on my neck. So have I. #Navratri2026 #GoddessSkandamata #ShiboriSaree #TieDyeSaree #vyoletclothing Photo courtesy @visualcascade Muse @mystic_thamburatti @vinayakanoor
