Billy the Kid

In November, I went to Vancouver looking for a place to live and realized it was only slightly more expensive to record an album than stay in a hotel.

So I did it.

I came back at Christmas to see family, hoping to finish what @jessegander and I started. But after a canceled flight that resulted in a 24-hour travel day, I got sick and lost my voice.

Five months later, I found the strength to finish the album.

This is my new chapter.

“You Know That I Tried” is the first single from my new album “Prelude to a New Dream”, out September 19, 2025 on @lostrecordshq.

Jesse Gander and I made and played the whole thing after I decided I wanted to see if I could make a full on pop record, with no band...just Junos, prophet8s, LinnDrums and all.

💿 Pre-save it now.
