It's amazing how my inbox filled up when I used the word "hacked". Offers to recover my original Instagram profile ranging from $30 - $100. IDK, feels like I'm being hustled. lol Here's a pic of me in my natural habitat, not thinking about social media. by @sitarjamie

🕯️ W is for... White Lady, the female ghost, one of most well-known apparitions across various cultures of the world. This piece tells of a bereaved mother haunted by her loss. We like to think that time heals - indeed it often does. But what if time switches sides and helps one's utter grief grow truly unending? This is a short, careful glance into such despair. Thank you: Kseniia Dolgorukova - cello Andrei Barsukou - mixing Jamie Sitar - mastering Anna Bogdanova - cover art Full song at yearwalker.com @bloodycello @andrei_barsukou @sitarjamie @anna_bogdanova____ #ghosts #ghoststories #acoustic #darkfolk #whitelady by @sitarjamie
What people think producing is like vs what it actually is like. Disclaimer no artists were harmed (that much) in the making of this edit. “grackle” by @fivexfive.band is out on vinyl now @jessegander @foster_on_drums @whatthehepp @raincityrecorders @sitarjamie by @sitarjamie
I keep seeing posts about how the arts could disappear, because there’s no longer a way to make them sustainable. Here are the five albums I was able to make because of Patreon, as well as a list of some of the artists, photographers and musicians that I was able to hire to help me make them. The people who make up this community don’t have to contribute in the ways that they do. All the albums are on (all those streaming services) plus wherever else on the internet that provides us with (free) music and media to consume. They’re just nice people. And their good natured hearts have resulted in five entire albums, plus endless photoshoots, cover videos (I learned 31 songs in 31 days five or so times and then wrote 31 songs in 31 days), music videos, blogs and unreleased songs. This week save 50% on yearly Patreon memberships with code 29021. I read nothing but nonfiction when we were together self-help books repair manuals thousands spent to fix what was wrong with me every session became about you 25 months five and a half in silence under the same roof we argued over what counted as yelling until the word itself broke you said it was normal said anger was common and if it wasn’t like this with anyone else then it must be me. ”You Know That I Tried” isn’t just a song it’s every page I read, every sentence I wrote, every session I paid for, every word I survived. In November, I went to Vancouver looking for a place to live and realized it was only slightly more expensive to record an album than stay in a hotel. So I did it. I came back at Christmas to see family, hoping to finish what @jessegander and I started. But after a canceled flight that resulted in a 24-hour travel day, I got sick and lost my voice. Five months later, I found the strength to finish the album. This is my new chapter. “You Know That I Tried” is the first single from my new album “Prelude to a New Dream”, out September 19, 2025 on @lostrecordshq. Jesse Gander and I made and played the whole thing after I decided I wanted to see if I could make a full on pop record, with no band...just Junos, prophet8s, LinnDrums and all. 💿 Pre-save it now. 💌 Pre-order the album on Bandcamp. 🫶 Help me get back on my feet. #YouKnowThatITried #PreludeToANewDream #newmusic #bandcamp #indieartist #healingthroughmusic Pre-save “You Know That I Tried” link in bio Photo: @joshjusticephotography Hair: @artistry.byivy by @sitarjamie
