It’s funny how we can spend so long thinking about a change, only to realise that the hardest part was making the choice. The rest? We figure it out. Chop chop @rohan_jagtap_ 😋 🎥 @_rupitrik_

Many women who think they can't tolerate progesterone are actually reacting to synthetic progestogens. This week on my @drlouisenewsonpodcast, biochemist Dr Phyllis Bronson joined me to talk about progesterone, a hormone that has often been forgotten for far too long. Phyllis's doctoral research looked at the molecular differences between bioidentical progesterone and the synthetic progestogens found in many contraceptive pills and older types of HRT, and she explains why even a small change to a molecule can have such a big effect on the body. We talk about progesterone as the 'molecule of calm', how it works differently when it's used through the skin or taken orally, and why it's often the first hormone to decline, sometimes as early as our 20s and 30s. I see women in my clinic whose lives have been transformed when they're given the right type of progesterone at the right dose for them, because progesterone has such important effects on the brain as well as the womb. Listen to the full conversation now via the link in my bio. #Progesterone #HormoneHealth #Perimenopause #WomensHealth #HRT
The White Collar He knew that white attracts attention, and he knew it was a symbol of purity. Yet somewhere along the way, the soul seems to grow paler in comparison. In autumn, white collars are everywhere, as if reminding us that the soul is pure, just like that forgotten day. Autumn has only a few fleeting moments, much like love — romantic and playful, only to become cold and forgotten…
