I’ve always wanted to get close to elephants, but only in a way that’s respectful and ethical. This sanctuary is exactly that: a safe haven where rescued elephants are free to roam, recover, and live out their lives with dignity — no riding, no tricks, no forced interactions.

It was a privilege to spend time with these majestic animals and learn more about their stories.
