I’m grateful for the failures.
The mistakes, the setbacks, the face-first falls — they’re the true honors I wear today.
Each cord on this gown tells a story.
🤍 The white cord: first-generation struggles.
💙 The blue cord: my journey through the foster care system.
Not just symbols, they’re badges of resilience.
I didn’t always rise gracefully.
Sometimes, I hit the ground. Hard.
But instead of sitting in shame, I recycled the lessons and stood back up , wiser, softer, stronger.
To walk this stage is to walk with every version of myself who didn’t know if she’d make it.
Today, we all graduated.
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him…”
