Turkey's most-watched pro-opposition news channel, Halk TV, has been taken over by a government-appointed trustee after a police raid. The move raises fresh concerns about a wider crackdown on press freedom – and how much space remains to criticize President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his government ahead of the 2028 elections. #DWNews
