Dolce far niente ☀️🌴🥥 “The sweetness of doing nothing.” One of my favourite phrases! ✨ I’ve chosen to spend this birthday on a beautiful island with no real agenda other than to savour the slow mornings, the sunshine, the little moments that make me smile, the unexpected kindness of strangers, and the quiet luxury of my own company.🤍 We can become so accustomed to our blessings that we start treating them as ordinary, always moving the goalposts and saving our happiness for whatever comes next. Ambition and contentment can coexist. You can want more for yourself without making the life you have feel like it isn’t enough. In the pursuit of the next big thing, don’t forget to appreciate the things you once hoped for. The dream isn’t just about where you get to go. It’s about having the freedom to decide when, why and how. May we all learn to enjoy the lives we’re so busy trying to build. 🦩🍇🐽👙
At least I am half way there..🤷‍♀️
