Black Women For Abdul had an intimate conversation with U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester, hosted by Crisette Ellis.

She shared her journey from serving burgers at McDonald’s to becoming one of the few Black women in U.S. Senate history, the heartbreak of losing her husband, and how her life experiences shaped her commitment to public service.

She reminded us, “We are in different times that call for someone and something different.”

We couldn’t agree more. Abdul El-Sayed is bringing people together and he’s the kind of leader Michigan and this country need right now. #BlackWomenForAbdul #AbdulElSayed #BlackWomenLead #PeopleOverPolitics #DifferentTimesCallforDifferentLeaders 🩷💚

Happy Birthday to our dearest Grandma. Today, we honor and celebrate the rich grace that rests upon your life, the selfless love you shower upon us, the brightness you bring into our lives, and above all, your forgiving and Christ-like heart.

A Birthday Prayer for Grandma:

“Lord, we thank You for the gift of our Grandma. We ask that You shower her with abundant peace that surpasses understanding. Fill her days with divine vitality, strength, and joy. May the forgiveness and love she has sown into our family return to her a hundredfold in endless blessings, long life, and quiet contentment.”

WE LOVE YOU GRAN MA
