At some point in late summer, Donald Trump stopped taking my calls. It was nothing personal, explains the FT’s Edward Luce. He stopped answering most journalists. ‘The president is in a foul mood,’ said a senior figure in his orbit. ‘You wouldn’t want to speak to him.’

Earlier in the year, Trump had been only too keen to talk. Operation Epic Fury was a huge success, he said; America was beating Iran like never before. Since Jimmy Carter was humiliated almost 50 years ago by the Iran hostage crisis, no president had the guts to take on the ayatollahs and win, was Trump’s consistent refrain.

Derek Lunsford knows being open about his faith won’t win everyone over. He’s choosing to speak boldly anyway. ✝️

At the More Life Summit, Derek @dereklunsford_ shared why he believes his platform is an opportunity to glorify God, even when that makes him polarizing.

A powerful reminder to stay rooted in your faith when the applause turns into criticism. 🙏
