I had to make a video about this because I’m genuinely so upset with how 911 handled this situation.

What happened was horrific enough, but all I can think about is what would have happened if someone were actively attacking me or another person nearby and every second mattered.

I gave the 911 operator a full description of the situation and the man involved, only to be transferred to EMS and told I needed to repeat everything I had just explained.

The entire process felt incredibly inefficient and frustrating, especially for a service people rely on during actual emergencies.

I really hope this process gets reevaluated because when someone calls 911, time matters…. no one should have to worry about whether their emergency is being handled efficiently while they’re trying to get help 😒
