Comment SYNC and I’ll send you the method 💚✨ I used to think getting results just meant eating less, training more and being more disciplined. So that’s what I did. More cardio, more restriction, more pressure to be “good” all the time. And whenever I fell out of routine, I just assumed I was the problem. What I wasn’t really thinking about was my cycle, my hormones, my energy, my stress, my recovery… basically all the things that can completely change how you feel from one week to the next. Once I stopped expecting my body to perform exactly the same every day, everything got easier. I started using the higher energy parts of my cycle for more strength and dynamic movement, and the lower energy parts for Pilates, lower intensity movement and more recovery. I also stopped under-eating and actually started fuelling my body properly. And weirdly, that’s when I became more consistent. Not because I was trying harder, but because I finally had an approach that actually worked with my body rather than constantly fighting it. That’s basically what Sync was built around. So if you feel like you’re doing “all the right things” but still not really getting anywhere… Comment SYNC and I’ll send you exactly how I approach it 💚

In 2015, Mitski delivered one of NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series’ most unforgettable moments with her performance of “Class of 2013.” Armed with just an acoustic guitar, she transformed a song about the anxieties of growing up, uncertainty, and the yearning for maternal comfort into something profoundly intimate. The standout element of this performance is when Mitski sings directly into the guitar’s soundhole. This unconventional technique creates a distorted resonance that adds another layer of raw desperation to her voice, perfectly capturing the fear and vulnerability of entering adulthood before truly being ready. It’s a powerful display of artistic expression that continues to resonate with fans. #Mitski #ClassOf2013 #TinyDesk #NPR #IndieMusic
