The Rock transforms into a 70-year-old man on the set of Benny Safdie’s upcoming ‘Lizard Music.’

Johnson was spotted filming in Brooklyn this week, reuniting with Safdie following their previous collaboration on ‘The Smashing Machine’, in which he portrayed former professional wrestler and mixed martial artist Mark Kerr.

Based on Daniel Pinkwater’s 1976 children’s novel, the film stars Johnson as the Chicken Man, an eccentric 70-year-old who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a young boy, played by Theo Leber, as they bond over their fascination with a mysterious chicken that appears on television.

The cast includes Rachel McAdams, Colman Domingo, David Krumholtz, Jeff Goldblum, Alicia Silverstone and Regina Hall. Releasing in theaters Christmas Day 2027.

A new apartment, a fresh start, and a shopping list that keeps getting longer. 😁🏡
