This summer, I joined the @morehouseschoolofmedicine × @tuskegeeuniversity × @uab.edu @onealcanceruab for a research symposium backed by the @americancancersociety and the @nationalcancerinstitute .

On the panel, we explored career transitions in cancer research and healthcare leadership. For me, that conversation is personal my journey has always been about bridging disciplines and centering equity so that innovation reaches the communities who need it most.

What I carried with me from this day is simple: when research, equity, and leadership align, the future of cancer care doesn’t just get discussed it gets built.

I look forward to continuing these conversations through future panels and speaking opportunities that advance equity-driven leadership in healthcare.
