design 2/9: “JOY”

The fruit of the spirit is not happiness, but joy.

A “soul satisfaction” that comes only through God’s grace.

We live in a world with any comfort we could ever want at our fingertips. Yet, this same society is also the most discontent.

Not the body of Christ, though! We have a transcendent satisfaction because we know Whose we are, and Whose we will always be.

🚨💔 A HORRIFYING INCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 15 IN BROSSARD LEAVES A MAN DEAD!

A man in his 30s has tragically lost his life after a wheel detached from a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction and struck the van he was riding in on Monday evening.

The shocking incident happened around 5:20 p.m. on Highway 15 North, between Boulevard Matte and Rue Riviera in Brossard.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the wheel came loose from a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction and was launched toward the van, smashing through its windshield and fatally striking the passenger.

The impact caused extensive damage to the vehicle, leaving its windshield completely shattered.

The driver of the van was transported to hospital. His condition was not immediately known.

🔎 WHAT CAUSED THE WHEEL TO DETACH?

Police are investigating how the wheel came loose. Authorities had not determined whether it was caused by improperly secured wheel nuts or another factor.

Questions have also been raised about the dangerous social media trend known as the “lug nut challenge,” which involves tampering with vehicle wheel nuts. However, there is no confirmed connection between this incident and the challenge.

💔 A man lost his life in a matter of seconds while simply travelling on the highway.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this heartbreaking time.
