I promised my boys a trip to NYC before the end of the year (they both have never been) and some other plans fell through which made it possible to do it over fall break! It was completely last minute (I planned it in just a few days), but we had the best time. I felt like it was the perfect mix of NYC iconic sites and fun experiences like a Knicks game! (Though the request for no Broadway shows was tragic for me. 🤣) They are 18 and 11 and both had an amazing time. 🙌 🗽If you plan to take your kids to NYC, save this post and comment NYC for the full itinerary + other trip posts I’ve written over the years. You’ll be all set!
Almost deleted picture 3... a bit too playful?
“Your family can’t help you...” 💔 @evypoumpouras explains why constantly asking other people for advice can stop you from developing your own instincts. She believes it’s better to make the wrong decision yourself, learn from it and become more confident in your ability to choose. The more you trust yourself, the stronger your gut instinct becomes. You can’t build confidence in your decisions if you never make them yourself.
