I love popcorn and ice cream style books in the summer. Easy and fast to read - nothing dark or serious. Here are my hits of summer 2025:
Don’t Let Him In by @lisajewelluk
Fast paced twisty turny mystery thriller about a narcissistic jerk and the chaos he creates. By one of my favourite authors.

Atmosphere by @tjenkinsreid
Another of my favourites with her new blockbuster novel about love in the 80s space program.

Wives Like Us by @therealplumsykes
A peek into the spoiled lives of pampered English countryside wives by a lady who knows - Vogue writer Sykes. Reminded me of Kevin Kwan’s Crazy Rich Asian series.
📚📚📚📚.5/5
The Griffin Sisters Greatest Hits by @jenniferweinerwrites
Sibling rivalry is at the heart of this novel about one album wonder pop star sisters. Weiner could have had more fun digging into the music business.
📚📚📚.5/5
Julie Chan is Dead by @theliannz
A silly story about self-involved social media influencers and their obsession for clicks fell apart with a dumb ending. Could have been so much more interesting and meaningful
📚📚/5
Margo Has Money Troubles by @rufithorpe
Heard so much buzz about this novel that I thought picked up the wrong book. I gave up on Margo and her Only Fans social media world after a few chapters.
