Shortly after learning contact staff I found my love for poi. It was hard at first, but the challenge of using both hands fluidly is what kept me going. Being in the presence of amazing Flow Artists like @grandmasterong @lawless_eoghan and @ryanmoray really inspired me to push myself with it and be as good as them. Slowly, but surely I got better the more I practiced. Connecting with my Flowarts family and asking them how manipulate the fire like they do. If you see someone that inspires you don’t be intimidated to go up and talk to them. This art form is built on community. The positivity and radical inclusion it offers is what makes it so special for me. It makes me so happy to share this beautiful fiery art with everyone and anyone I can whether you’re a spectator or participant. Hopefully I’ll be teaching classes for all skills levels soon to anyone that would like to learn
