I loved being a dad. But it took my wife going away for me to realise that the only reason I got to enjoy so many of the best bits of parenting was because someone else was constantly thinking about laundry, tidying, meal planning and food shopping. And here’s the thing. These jobs suck. They’re not fun. They’re relentless. And they’re never actually finished. When you’re completely responsible for managing them, it’s exhausting. And after a while, you get pretty pissed off. If you’re tired of the resentment in your home and you want to work as a team, comment the word CHANGE.
