A cup of tea may not change your life.
But it can change the pace of an afternoon, open a conversation, and become a memory.

That’s what I loved most about @nazareteacollection.

Last week they launched their collection in Montreal and I understood why they do it differently: born around a family table, each organic blend is designed not just to be enjoyed, but to be shared. For those real moments I care so much about: calm mornings, long afternoons with people you love, and the pauses we need more than we admit.

Tea, cocktails, beautiful bites, and an idea I fully share: wellness can also have flavour, aroma and memory. And it’s better when shared.

Thank you @nazareteacollection for inviting us into your world and to @ for capturing it so beautifully. 🤍

I got back from Athens last night and saw the Shane Gillis "jokes". I photographed him a few years ago for Hustler but didn't share the images. Not because they were for Hustler - I've posted the portraits I made with Fortune Feimster for them several times - but because I didn't want to highlight someone who might call women whores on SNL. Then today I realized I had an image from the shoot that made sense to share. To paraphrase @instadanjlevy (and please go watch his video on this), women wearing clothes you publicly disapprove of doesn't make them whores, it makes you a misogynist pig. Guys, don't be a pig. (And apologies to statue pig who looks quite dapper in his jacket and I'm sure has never called women whores.)

To every new mama reading this 🤍

I wish someone had told me all of this when I first became a mom.

That not every phase lasts forever. That motherhood doesn’t mean losing yourself. That your body isn’t ruined, it’s changing. And that one day, you might actually love the woman you’ve become even more than the one you were before.

That I didn’t have to enjoy every second to be a good mother.

And most importantly, that becoming a mom doesn’t mean you have to stop becoming YOU.

I’m sharing these words as a mom who’s been through the newborn days, the sleepless nights, the guilt, the changes, and the beautiful surprises that come with growing alongside your children.

So save this for the days when motherhood feels a little too heavy. And send it to a new mama who needs to hear it. 🤍

Mamas who’ve been there, what’s ONE thing you wish someone had told you before becoming a mother? Let’s make the comments a little survival guide for new moms. 🫶🏻
