Month of August! I hope this month is treating everyone well! Mine’s been packed with so many on-going projects that my to-do list is starting to look like a novel, lol. With this reason, I’ll be taking a short break from joining brief design challenges for awhile.

But of course, ain’t no way I’m skipping a post here! For today’s romanticization of my creative work, I’m sharing another episode from my Smoosh series (almost forgot I had this one) where I create an ad and resize it to different formats so I can practice my layout placement skills.

This was supposed to be a Photoshop project, but mid-way I decided to finished it in Illustrator. That’s why there’s no shadows on the elements because who the hell uses the stylize shadow in Illustrator? It’s the worse feature 😭. Anw, this is another one of those projects that looks super quick and easy to finish yet I somehow spent the whole day obsessing over every single element placement. On the bright side, I always enjoy working on pieces like this since it helps me a lot in training my keen eye for design.
