I’M BACK! No way I skipped 2 months of posting. I was so busy and just keep on getting busier with each passing day that it’s getting ridiculous atp. I’ve become a houseplant that hasn’t seen the sun for weeks, huhu. I hope everyone’s been doing well and creating continuously! I’m sharing here a project that’s been seating in my drafts for 2 months, which I managed to execute in just 2 days, hehe. Here’s Sylvan Tailoring! 🪡 Sylvan Tailoring is a garment-making business that offers services for creating well-fitted clothes that match each customer’s different style. Their vision is to become the most trusted high-end tailoring services in town. For this project, following the company’s vision, the goal was to create a trustworthy and reliable visual branding identity. And to be able to execute that, I chose to illustrate a minimal yet I know a dignified ST monogram icon for the logo matching it with a custom serif typeface. Deep crimson serving as the main color with a touch of gold to emphasize the trust and high-end feel. Overall, the design aims to make the customers feel confident in choosing Sylvan Tailoring, knowing they are investing in quality services that are worth their money. Such a fun project to work on, despite my iMac going loco in between. It’s always a challenge for me using red as the dominant color as it can be easily overwhelming, so finding just the right shade was such an interesting part of the process. I love it when I spend so much time on all the tiny adjustments I make and it turns out to be worth it. It’d be lovely to read some of your comments about my design! Drop ‘em below, please! by @dishaneyo
Happy month of July ✨ I hope everyone here is creating consistently! I love this month because, somehow, every July marks a beginning of something that changes the trajectory of my life. I’ve been inactive lately because June was such a hell month for me that I had to step back from creating and find my footing for a bit. But this project has actually been in the works since May. It took me much longer than expected because I kept on exploring different directions. So fullfilled to finally got to finalized everything, hehe. Without further ado, I introduce here; Joseph Samonte Makeup Artistry 💄 Joseph Samonte Makeup Artistry is a professional makeup service built around enhancing natural beauty using cosmetic products. This project is so special to me because the business owner is one of my creative friends that I truly look up to! He is the GOAT! For this branding, I wanted to capture an editorial inspired aesthetic. To achieve that, I focus on creating a logo system that feels contemporary while retaining a timeless sense of elegance. The icon is an anagram of the letters J and S, intertwined to form a diamond symbolizing excellence. For the colors, I came up with a color palette of plum, blush, graige, and taupe. Base on the result of my design rationale, these luxurious tones make the brand versatile enough to feel enduring across every brand touchpoints. Finishing this project caught me by surprise. I wasn’t really at my best state while working on this, those days when creating felt difficult that finishing a project almost seemed impossible. Somehow, though, I managed to go through it. As I was exporting the assets, something in me settled. I realized all over again why I fell in love with my career. There’s just something so magical that comes with creating, no matter how loud my thoughts are, the moment I begin designing, everything else fades in the background. Moments like this remind me how much I love what I do. I love to create. I love to design. And I never want to lose this feeling no matter what season of my life I’m in. Not me sobbing while writing this. Ending my diary dump here by asking y’all what do you think of my design? Let me know! by @dishaneyo
Happy month of May! For today’s romantization of my creative work, I’m sharing here a client project. Client reach out to me for a full branding identity package and bruh, was I so thrilled when I found out it’s for a coffee shop! I never say no to any coffee brand projects, hehe. So, yeah. Introducing here, Kajin Sara Coffee ☕️ Kajin Sara Coffee is a cozy and premium coffee shop inspired by the beauty or Himalayas. It’s a place where people can relax and enjoy high-quality coffee. It was my first time working for a Nepali brand so I really took my time doing my research, and studying the client’s answers from my questionnaire. The first draft I presented did not get approved which I did not expected, (napagano’n ako o 🤯 eme) I loved that version, but it turned out me and the client had a misunderstanding on the overall creative direction, so I had to redo everything. This project took multiple design studies and a whole month of work before we finally came up to something. And, here it is! The direction we agreed upon was a premium coffee branding. I wanted it to feel clean but still connected to the Himalayan culture, all while considering the client’s vision. For the logo, I illustrated a Yak icon and the font I use for the logotype is called STIX two text. Then for the colors, we went for something that will reflect the premium vibes rooted in himalayan culture which are deep blue, burgundy, brown, and cream colors. This project was honestly stressful and fulfilling at the same time. I find it so exciting whenever I have to whack my brain into solving design problems because eventually, I always find a way to figure things out. My takeaways; it’s important to connect with and understand what the client’s wants, and it’s OKAY for the first draft to get rejected, lol. It was such a humbling experience but I know it’s necessary to push the project into the right direction so, I’m learning to take it better and use it to improve not just the quality of my design work but also on how I deal with my clients. I still have so much to say, but IG captions are not built for yapping so ending it here —let me know your thoughts about my design! by @dishaneyo
April na agad?! Bruh. I hope everyone is having fun with their projects! ✨ These past few weeks for me have been insane (wala namang bago?!) I’ve been in overdrive mode everyday that even sleep is optional, lol. I’m actually writing these while my eyes were strained, back hurts after 13 hours straight of working simultaneously with multiple projects. And because I survived without my iMac exploding, I’m introducing here, Sonix 🔊 Sonix is a next gen music platform dedicated to helping artists by simplifying the music-making process and providing all the tools needed in one single platform to transform their ideas into released-ready tracks. Came up with this passion project because I’ve heard my musician partner talk so many times about the process of music-making, and being the design nerd that I am, I thought that it’d be interesting to create a visual brand design for one but with a corporate twist, so here it is! The logo is designed from the idea of sound waves in geometric form with an integration of letter S in the middle. The logotype is chosen for its modern look, since it offers just the right amount of thickness and spaces between each letters. Then color-wise, I chose violet-blue gradients to achieve a tech-driven vibe while also giving a sense of creativeness. Overall, the vibe is techy but still creative— something that is both smart and expressive. (ME 😝) Working with this was me realizing that the hardest part about corporate branding is creating the most simple logo at the same time making sure that it has never done before by any designers or like it’s distinctive enough to be owned by this specific brand. It’s very challenging but fun! These kinds of designs are actually my favorite to create— timeless, and easy to apply across any collateral. I just love it everytime I get the chance to prove that good design doesn’t always need to be complicated for it to be considered powerful, sometimes it can also be the most simple ones. (ciempre depende pa rin sa industriya!) That’s all for me nerding the eff out about my designs. Next post ulit. Lemme know your thoughts in the comments! ✨ by @dishaneyo
Disclaimer: This dashboard design is a personal project created for fun and portfolio purposes only. It is not affiliated with Technological Institute of the Philippines. All trademarks remain the property of their owners. I can’t believe it’s halfway through March already. Time really do moves fast when you’re working every single day of your life 😭 I hope y’all doing good and handling all your projects just fine. Before I dive into my pile of workload, I’m dropping here a passion project I created last year to serve as a feed filler, hehe. Never had the chance to post this because I’m maintaining my feed but HYG. I came up with this as I notice that most traditional student dashboards are always designed around academic workload, mainly on deadlines and performance metrics which I find so depressing. As someone who fails a lot back in college (Pagpili pa lang ng program bagsak na.) I think it kinda overlooks the personal factors that influence student’s academic success. So to solve this problem, I designed a dashboard that can provide academic performance together with well-being indicators, hobbies, support systems, and most specially health and clinical records. The goal is to help the school especially the educators better understand the full context behind every student’s performance. Example, if a student is failing a major subject, it might not always mean they’re not trying. Maybe they’re struggling with their chosen field and wanted to shift but they can’t? Feeling academic burn out? Dealing with personal struggles? Physically or mentally sick? There are so many reasons to be considered and this dashboard is designed to bring those considerations into view. So basically, it’s a student dashboard designed to support a healthier and more balanced student experience which I did not get to experience way back in college. Reaching flow state while I write these thoughts. I love solving problems. Do you also think this design solves a problem? Because I seriously think it does. Might even have a potential to be an interesting thesis topic. Let me know your thoughts! by @dishaneyo
A client project that I’m genuinely proud of and prolly one of my favorite creations so far! This was a full branding identity that took me a month to finished. When I told y’all I was locked in from start to finish, bruh I WAS IN PURE CREATIVE FLOW STATE when I created this that I literally ignored my other on-going projects just to focus, lol. So without further ado, Introducing Hawra Photography. 📸 Hawra Photography is a lifestyle photography brand focused on capturing life’s intimate moments. They specializes in newborn photography, family portraits, and special celebrations such as weddings and etc. The color palette of green was strategically chosen to give off this emotionally resonant vibes, best to represent the brand’s goal of being there or being present to photograph people’s special moments. The golden style was actually suggested by the client which I did not expect will turn out so good! As for the primary logo, I used Nandia typeface paired with a custom Script “A” to add this personal artistic touch while the icon is designed as a simple anagram of the letter H and A. With all these strategic design decisions, we were able to create a brand that balances both luxury and intimacy, positioning the photographer as someone premium yet accessible, exactly as we aimed. This project was an absolute blast, not only because the style is my forte but also because the client fully trusted my creative direction. Love it everytime this happens! Creativity really thrives where trusts exists and being given full confidence in my vision really pushed me to create at my highest level. I wish everyone of us here always get to work with these type of clients. ✨ If you read until here, edi congrats for surviving my creative rumble. Now tell me what you think of my designs below! by @dishaneyo
Happy month of February, everyone! I hope y’all are having a very creative and productive time as y’all should. I can’t keep up with my monthly posting since my career priorities are shifting. I’m currently busy investing half of my time operating my marketing business all the while consuming different types of art to nurture the artist in me, hehe. Oversharing aside, I’m posting here my latest project. Introducing Inner Matter 🪷 #dbinnermatter “Inner Matter is a premium spa focused on deep rest and inner balance. A quiet space where everything slow down, with warm materials, soft lights, and treatments designed to reconnect body and mind.” - @designerbriefs When I saw the brief, I immediately thought of the movie “A Cure for Wellness” it’s one of those films that stays with me because of its beautiful and haunting cinematography. The color palette I came up with is actually inspired by it. My goal here was to achieve a brand that feels premium, all while making it standout among all its competitors. Using deeper shades of blue that screams high-end was the key to that. As per the logo, I chose an illustration of lotus flower to symbolize clients entering the spa tired, and then leaving refreshed just like how the lotus flowers blooms from muddy waters, hehe. Typefaces are Sacramento Regular paired with Glacial Indifference, which I believe is the perfect combination to achieved the vibes I’m aiming. This project took me a month of strategic planning and a week of execution. All while working with my jobs and other branding projects (she a multitasking kween). The most fun part was when I literally reached flow state exporting the files. Like wow, I did all that in a week! The workaholic in me is so satisfied that she can now finally sleep in peace without dreaming of artboards breathing down her neck. If you read until here, please do me a favor and feed my egoistic self by dropping a comment. ✨ by @dishaneyo
Happy Holidays! ✨ I hope everyone’s having a good time and finally getting the rest we all deserve this time of the year. Mine’s been full of catching up galore with friends— basically, it’s me finally going out of the house after a year of mostly working inside my space. And funny enough, every time I was out, I kept thinking about this project, lol. With that said, I’m so excited to share my brief entry for #dbmaisonthe by @designerbriefs 🍵 Maison Thé is a tea house in the heart of the city, offering a quiet pause and subtle sophistication. For this, I aimed for an elegant european tea house vibes, making sure it carries a subtle sense of luxury throughout. The types I used are Safira March and a custom calligraphic Aston Serif. I also added a fleur-de-lis as the illustration and a color palette that will reflect european baroque influence. Overall, I believe I achieve a graceful identity that mirrors the quiet luxury of a baroque-inspired tea house. Working on this was me battling extreme perfectionism while also dealing with dry eyes, all while pressuring myself to complete everything before the year ends. Bruh, I’m just so happy I got this done! Looking at the outcome made me very proud of myself and realizing that this year has been A LOT. From tolerating my workaholic tendencies to learning how to rest (or atleast trying to, hehe.) 2025 for me is nothing but a year full of so much fun and growth. Looking back at my past works and comparing them to what I create now, it’s wild to see how much I’ve improve as a designer (I know that I say this a lot, lol. Let me be 😝) My favorite lesson this year would be learning that it’s alright to take things slow. Always keeping in mind that a great designer knows how to rest with no guilt and still show up to create even on days when motivation hits zero. I just love the creative professional I’m becoming— the one who thinks burnout is only a myth, charot! Kidding aside, I am wishing that the year 2026 will bring all of us success and happiness in everything we set out to achieve. If you’ve read all the way here, I’d love to hear your thoughts about my design. Drop ‘em in the comments! by @dishaneyo
I AM BACK! I hope everyone is having a blast this month of October. I just officially graduated last August, and September was such a busy month for me. I really thought finally finishing school will allow me to create nonstop passion projects but jokes on me?! I end up handling projects left and right. Bruh, creative juice is a muscle memory to me at this point. It’s tiring but it’s my definition of fun so I am not complaining, hehe. Keeping this account’s presence is getting harder but I’m trying my best, so here’s a passion project I’ve been working on whenever I could steal a moment. Introducing, Bfund 💸 Bfund is a cross-platform app that helps people manage and track their investments easily. It’s a safe space where users can see real-time insights from every single one of their investments and also get tips from finance professionals on how to do investing the smarter way. For this project, I decided to design a branding that will scream modern tech and trustworthiness. I created a logo icon in a geometric form built with clean squares then I paired it with the font Coolvetica to give it this systematic feel. I chose this style because I want to keep it uncomplicated, just like how the app aims to make investment management less complicated. I chose a green gradient color palette because it gives off this professional and transparency vibes that I’m aiming for. I also added a soft circular gradient to reflect how users can smoothly manage & grow their money using the app. I struggled finishing this project because the whole time I kept feeling like something was missing. Isn’t it too simple? Should I atleast make it stand out more? But then, I realized this is a tech branding for an app. I have to make the design look cohesive as much as possible. So, yeah! That’s how I came up with everything, hehe. I believe I created a branding for Bfund where the logos and colors complement each other to reflect what the app stands for. How about y’all? I’m curious to know everyone’s thoughts. Drop ‘em in the comments! by @dishaneyo
Month of August! I hope this month is treating everyone well! Mine’s been packed with so many on-going projects that my to-do list is starting to look like a novel, lol. With this reason, I’ll be taking a short break from joining brief design challenges for awhile. But of course, ain’t no way I’m skipping a post here! For today’s romanticization of my creative work, I’m sharing another episode from my Smoosh series (almost forgot I had this one) where I create an ad and resize it to different formats so I can practice my layout placement skills. This was supposed to be a Photoshop project, but mid-way I decided to finished it in Illustrator. That’s why there’s no shadows on the elements because who the hell uses the stylize shadow in Illustrator? It’s the worse feature 😭. Anw, this is another one of those projects that looks super quick and easy to finish yet I somehow spent the whole day obsessing over every single element placement. On the bright side, I always enjoy working on pieces like this since it helps me a lot in training my keen eye for design. What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments! by @dishaneyo
A client project that is not under an NDA contract?! What a rare moment. How’s everyone doing? I wish y’all are never running out of creative juices. I’m outta here enjoying my time as the Creative Director at Multiquest, and I’m so excited to share a visual brand identity project me and my team just brought to life. Introducing: RC Onemodul Furniture. 🛋️ RC Onemodul Furniture is a modular furniture and interior solutions provider based in Rodriguez, Rizal, Philippines. They design and build stylish functional modular pieces for both residential and commercial spaces. I created the logo with a structured thought in mind, arranging the letter R and C as an anagram forming a box-like shape representing the modular nature of the brand’s services; pieces that fit together perfectly. For the wordmark, I use a clean sans-serif typeface called Europa Nuova Bold applying the kerning adjustments to make sure there’s a perfect balance between each letters. One of my colleagues actually suggested turning the icon into an actual furniture shape, but I intentionally avoided that route. My reasoning is that a logo doesn’t have to be overly literal especially when the brand name already includes the word “Furniture.” Instead, I focused on creating a timeless mark using the letters R and C from the business name subtly reflecting the brand’s modular approach without stating it outright. Anyway, as for the color palette I choose deep red as the primary color to represent the brand’s bold yet grounded personality. Red symbolizes confidence, which aligns with the reliability of the furnitures. This particular shade leans more on the sophisticated side avoiding the harshness of brighter reds while still capturing the brand’s energy. My takeaways for this project? Learning how to design with greater purpose and saying “Nope” to not-so-on brand ideas from non-designers 🤪 Kidding aside, every element in this project taught me that good design isn’t just about what looks nice, but what actually makes sense. Any thoughts about this project?! Let me know! by @dishaneyo
Month of July! No way, I’m about to hit the 2nd anniversary of this account next week. Wow, 2 years of consistent creation. That’s insane! I never thought I was even capable of keeping my creative momentum this long. Anyway, I’ve been bombarded by lots of gig projects these past few weeks that I ended up missing my deadline for this one but here it is! Introducing: Innie Cosmetics 🧴 Innie Cosmetics is a skincare line that offers product good for nourishing the skin. I designed this for innies working long hours under artificial light, lol. The concept was actually inspired by my favorite TV show “Severance”. I really love the show’s clean and powerful branding so I thought, why not reimagine it in a completely different field, like skincare? Afterall, both are rooted in blind trust. I use Coolvetica Regular for the logotype because of its structured look, very perfect for the corporate and sterile feels of the brand. I made a color palette that is a muted version of Lumon’s to incorporate the wellness vibes. As for the icon, it was inspired by the Lumon droplet icon but I reimagined it enclosed in a circle. It’s a subtle yet fitting symbol of nourishment (skincare core) while the circle represents confinement, much like the regulated environment innies work in. (severance coded) This took me three weeks of concept research & building then two days straight of execution. I was grinning like a fool with my full-blown eyebags when I hit the export button. I am so HAPPY with how this creation turned out, and honestly? I am very confident that Kier would approve. No notes. 10/10. Would present to Lumon Town hall. How about y’all? What do you think of these designs? Any thoughts are welcome in the comment’s section! by @dishaneyo
