Summer felt… different this year. In the past I’ve always felt like summer was way too short or way too long and once I’m settled into school it felt perfect. But right now? Summer was… summer? Except not in the having fun at the lake, late night games, phone calls, and having fun way. Instead, it was work, stress, and loneliness. Every year I’ve always had tons of photos to use, but I took close to nothing this year, sooooo… my bad! Anyway, introducing…. SUMMER!!!!!

I…. Skipped school on the last day, celebrated my best friend’s birthday, went to nationals for Congress, drove across state borders with my best friend, had a tree fall down during a storm, and got hype with cabinet!!!!! All while…. Working 40-50 hrs a week, summer school, and preparing for the WORST year of my life. 23 classes. 5 major clubs. A job. AND planning for college…. Am I cooked or cooking?????
