#graduated Okay now itā€™s time to brag: Speech & Debate. Cabinet. International Thespian Society. National Honor Society. National English Honor Society. State & National Qualifier. Seals of Excellence in Speech, Drama, English, and Social Studies. A+ Tutor. CTE Recipient in Business Management. Top 10% of my class ā€” ranked #3. 100+ tutoring hours. Those are all my cords and medals for anyone curious :} And somehow, somewhere between the long nights, early mornings, competitions, performances, leadership meetings, tutoring sessions, homework, stress, burnout, and moments where I genuinely didnā€™t know if I could keep goingā€¦ I became one of the TWO Academic Hall of Famers through my 53 credits. Wow But more than the medals, cords, titles, and accomplishments, Iā€™m proud of the person I became while earning them. None of this happened overnight. Every achievement came from sacrifice, consistency, and believing in myself. There were moments I doubted myself. Moments I felt exhausted. Moments I wondered if all the work was even worth it. But every late night, every failure, every obstacle, and every challenge shaped me into someone stronger than I ever imagined I could be. Iā€™ve learned that success isnā€™t about being perfect. Itā€™s about continuing to show up even when youā€™re tired. Itā€™s about pushing yourself past what feels comfortable. Itā€™s about refusing to let fear decide your future. And now? Itā€™s time for my next chapter. Time to grow up. Time to step into the unknown. Time to chase bigger dreams. Time to do what Iā€™m meant to do. Time to make my difference. I donā€™t know exactly where life will take me next, but I do know this: I want to make a difference. I want to leave every place, every person, and every opportunity better than I found it. I want to create something meaningful with the life Iā€™ve been given. Hereā€™s to growth. Hereā€™s to change. Hereā€™s to risking everything for the life I want. And hereā€™s to becoming the person younger me would be proud of. We made it šŸ’ššŸ’› by @swagy_522
Prom šŸ’œšŸ’™ Iā€™m so happy that Atlas agreed to go to prom with me! Originally this boi was gonna skip and like wth man šŸ™„ Despite the ups and downs, we tried crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e, barely danced, avoidedā€¦ you know who you are šŸ˜’, went to Waffle House, got REALLY rained on, almost died on the drive home, and I beat him in too many rounds of Mancala! But regardless, I loved every single second of this night with my best friend šŸ’™šŸ’œ by @swagy_522
ā€œ I think Sky block at its core is the ultimate challenge of resource management. You spawn in on a tiny island in an empty universe. All you have is a tree, some supplies, and some dirt to stand on You have to treasure every dirt block because if one falls into the void, thereā€™s no way to replace it And as you carefully navigate your absurd circumstance, you gain a new appreciation for the few things you have as you meticulously use them to their fullest effect With nothing but some ice, lava, and saplings you slowly transform this empty expanse into a world of your very own Skyblock teaches us that no matter how ridiculous the odds may seem, within us resides the power to overcome these challenges and achieve something beautiful And one day, weā€™ll look back at where we started, and be amazed by how far weā€™ve comeā€œ ā€”Technoblade Wowā€¦ itā€™s Senior Sunday already. How crazy is it that I actually completed my Kā€“12 marathon? Eighteen years, just like that. To the few people reading this ā€” and to future me ā€” here are a few words to remember: Donā€™t give up. Seriously. Youā€™ve already survived every moment you thought you couldnā€™t. The long car rides. The late nights. The screams into pillows. The awkward phases, the hard conversations, the laughter that hurt your stomach, the people who stayed, and the people who didnā€™t. Every single moment shaped you into the person you are now. There were days that felt endless and years that flew by in a blink. Somehow, through all of it, you kept going. And that matters more than you know. So if future me ever forgets: you are capable of hard things. You always have been. Life is going to change, people are going to leave, new places will become home, and scary things will become normal. Keep trying anyway. Keep caring anyway. Keep showing up anyway. We made it here. And just begin to imagine how far weā€™ll go next. by @swagy_522
And with that, Speech and Debate has come to an end. Goodnight. Wow. Iā€™m really done with speech and debateā€¦ what even is life? Five total years dedicated to late nights over a laptop, cutting cards, memorizing lines, stressing over rounds, and now itā€™s over. Itā€™s hard to even put into words how much this activity has meant to me and how much it has changed me. Iā€™m so thankful for everything speech and debate has taught me: to put myself out there, to go big, and sometimes to come home with an even bigger trophy. Of course, part of me will always wish some of my seasons had gone better, but even so, Iā€™m incredibly proud of what I accomplished. A 4x national qualifier? Crazy. Finishing in the top 17% of Extemp Debate? Also crazy. Looking back, I never could have imagined that the person who first saw a poster in Mrs. Underwoodā€™s classroom would end up here. Honestly, I donā€™t even know what I was thinking when I joined. I just knew I hated talking to people, and I wanted to change that. I wanted to break out of my shell. I wanted to find somewhere I belonged. And somehow, speech and debate became that place for me. It gave me a home. It gave me confidence. It gave me challenges. It gave me memories, lessons, opportunities, and people I will never forget. It helped shape me into the man Iā€™ve become, and for that, I will always be grateful. Thank you, Mrs. Underwood. Thank you, Mr. Rothgeb. Thank you, Mr. Overton. Thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and helping me get to this point in my debate career. But most of all, thank you to my friends. Thank you for giving me a place to grow, to laugh, to compete, and to become myself. Iā€™m going to miss all of you more than I can say. Speech and debate, thank you for everything. For five unforgettable years, for the people, for the growth, for the wins, for the losses, and for the home you gave me when I needed one most. by @swagy_522
Sorry pvcabinet was inactive last week, I was in THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA!!!! Huge thanks to group 7 and closeup! I met so many cool people that Iā€™ll never talk to ever again. I learned a lot and although some MAGA were intense Iā€™m glad that I got the opportunity to still listen to them like they did for me. This trip taught me that there is hope, that someone CAN and WILL listen. And although our representatives donā€™t care now, one day, they will. #dc #districtofcolumbia #trip #travelling #schooltrip by @swagy_522
Whoops got a little too carried away with living in the moment I almost forgot that Iā€™m supposed to post on social media. Lowkey I feel like Iā€™m posting all the time but itā€™s just because Iā€™m on the cabinet page toooo oftenā€¦ by @swagy_522
Summer feltā€¦ different this year. In the past Iā€™ve always felt like summer was way too short or way too long and once Iā€™m settled into school it felt perfect. But right now? Summer wasā€¦ summer? Except not in the having fun at the lake, late night games, phone calls, and having fun way. Instead, it was work, stress, and loneliness. Every year Iā€™ve always had tons of photos to use, but I took close to nothing this year, soooooā€¦ my bad! Anyway, introducingā€¦. SUMMER!!!!! Iā€¦. Skipped school on the last day, celebrated my best friendā€™s birthday, went to nationals for Congress, drove across state borders with my best friend, had a tree fall down during a storm, and got hype with cabinet!!!!! All whileā€¦. Working 40-50 hrs a week, summer school, and preparing for the WORST year of my life. 23 classes. 5 major clubs. A job. AND planning for collegeā€¦. Am I cooked or cooking????? by @swagy_522
